Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village

March Madness continues, and we have lots of local establishments ready to let you watch and cheer for your favorite team. Midwest and western regional games start Thursday, March 26, so grab your friends and enjoy.

Also prepare to welcome April next week by experiencing some outdoor activities. Let’s hope the traditional April showers will last all month long.

Saturday, March 28, is the annual children’s Underwater Egg Hunt from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Recreation Center Pool. For information stop at the Rec Center or call 775-832-1310.

A shout out to welcome Susan and Cathy Ashworth to the village. The happy dance will begin on Sunday. Yahoo!

The Deal or Steal this week is the best-ever event at Diamond Peak. Yes, it is Dummy Downhill time and the last event of the season at Diamond Peak. Go sit on the deck, enjoy lunch and watch as dummies are launched. The judging begins at 11 a.m. For more information visit
