Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village

Jean Eick
Special to the Bonanza

We might find a lot of people in our village again this weekend, as the temps down below will not be very pleasant. Remember, it is good to do things early, and we have an advantage with our location.

The Shakespeare reviews are in — you must go see “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” For tickets, visit http://www.laketahoeshakespeare.com or stop at the office located in the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center.

Another hole-in-one to report this week: Christopher Sullivan on June 21 at the Mountain Course. Congratulations.

You still have time to pick up advance tickets to the Truckee Carnival at Tahoe’s Connection for Families, 761 Northwood Blvd. in Incline. More news about The Women’s Club annual Fashion Show, Fashions from A to Z. The show is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Lakeside Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency and features fashions from Dillard’s. And don’t forget the auction for two round trip tickets from Los Angeles to La Paz, Mexico, plus two nights at the Costa Baja Resort Marina & Golf in La Paz (a deluxe 18-hold course designed by Gary Player) and a two night stay at the Guaycura Hotel & Spa.
