April 26 meeting set for Villas at Harborside plan

The proposed Villas at Harborside project will be heard by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Governing Board on Thursday, April 26, at the North Tahoe Conference Center in Kings Beach as part of a special, two-day meeting.

The project was continued from the board’s March meeting so that the applicant and the community could resolve outstanding issues on the design of the project. The proposal involves building timeshare units on the lakefront across from the Homewood Mountain Resort. No specific time has been set for this item, but it will be early on the agenda.

The April agenda has been split into two days due to time constraints and to provide better convenience and opportunity for public input. The first day’s meeting will be held April 25 at the TRPA board rooms in Stateline, where the governors will rehear the Heavenly Master Plan Amendment and other items.-The second day’s meeting will be held April 26 at the North Tahoe Conference Center in Kings Beach.-

The second day’s agenda includes the proposed Villas at Harborside project and the Cal Neva Resort redevelopment project, as well as an informational presentation on the draft environmental study for the Vista Village Workforce Housing Project.- Please visit the Meetings and Notices page of the TRPA Web site at http://www.trpa.org for more information, or call the agency’s Jeff Cowen at (775) 589-5278.
