Art event slated at Northstar during Labor Day Weekend
The Village at Northstar will be the site of Chalk Tahoe on Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 31 through Sept. 3.
Presented by the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, the free community event features artists from all over California to transform the cobblestone pathways in the Village at Northstar into vibrant large-scale works of art.
While strolling through the village pathways, attendees can observe the creative minds working of the 500 expected artists who will bring life to the cobblestone walkways, while enjoying shopping, dining, live music and the backdrop of the Sierra Mountain Range.
Chalk Tahoe invites all levels of artists to participate even children have the opportunity to express their artistic side.
The artists are positioned throughout the Village at Northstar in every possible cobble-stoned corner
The Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation brings Chalk Tahoe to our region as a first-ever celebration for the Arts.
The focus around Chalk Tahoe is to create awareness for Childrenand#8217;s Arts and Education programs which the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation provides through its granting efforts focused on Arts, Culture and Youth Development.

Northstar California Resort continues its charitable contributions to community by providing one of the finest mountain villages in North America.
Each year, the resort is responsible for donations in excess of $50,000 to local organizations including The Tahoe Truckee Community Foundationand#8217;s Chalk Tahoe Celebration.
Chalk Tahoe is seeking sponsorships for the artist squares starting with the title sponsor for $15,000, presenting sponsor $5,000, gold sponsor $1,000, silver sponsor $500 and bronze sponsorship for $250.
