Nominate your favorite businesses, places and people in the region in this year’s Best of Tahoe and Truckee competition brought to you by the Sierra Sun and North Lake Tahoe Bonanza, at

This year, based on reader feedback, we changed the traditional format, where users vote on hundreds of categories. This year, top nominees in each category and#8212; 12 categories total and#8212; will advance to the voting rounds, where you can return to vote to make sure your nominees win the grand prizes.

This truly means you’re selecting the best of the best in the region.

Yes. Once nominations finish, you can vote up to once per hour.

Voting will begin on Aug. 15. Winners will be announced in September in the Sierra Sun and the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza.
