Blanket burglary

Truckee Police responded Tuesday evening to a call reporting a suspicious vehicle.

At about 5 p.m., a Glenshire resident called in to report a vehicle at a neighbor’s house, and according to police, the caller knew the owners of that home to be out of town.

Two subjects, Jesse C. Page, 19, and Katelynn A Sigafoose, 18, both from Truckee, fled the area on foot prior to the officer’s arrival.

Police reported that the two had allegedly burglarized the home, finding only a blanket stolen, which police later recovered.

Officers found and arrested the subjects, booking them into Nevada County Jail.
