CRYSTAL BAY, Nev. — Ladies know him as a soap opera superstar. Men remember his classic performance as Mike Barnes in Karate Kid: Part III.

Now, Sean Kanan is sharing many hilarious stories about his blended family, crazy life and a career in entertainment that spanned over 25 years.

Kanan will perform a 21-and-up comedy show Wednesday, July 13, at 8:30 p.m. at the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room.

Kanan currently stars in The Bold and the Beautiful, the No. 1 show on daytime television, playing the deviously sexy Deacon Sharpe.

On the comedy stage, Kanan has performed stand up at some of the countries leading clubs. Currently, he can be seen as a recurring guest panelist on both Fox News’ Red Eye and HLN’s Showbiz Tonight.

Early in his career, Kanan was chosen at an open call by Oscar winning directorJohn Avildsen from over 2,000 hopefuls for the role of Mark Barnes in Karate Kid: Part III.

He went on to use his martial arts skills again in the feature Chaos Factor and co-starred in the films Extreme Limits and Carpool Guy.

Kanan’s popularity in Italy and ability to speak Italian garnered him the lead role in the film Sons of Italy and landed him on the Italian version of the popular show Dancing with the Stars. He’s had several TV appearances as well.

He even worked under executive producer Francis Ford Coppola on the primetime TV series The Outsider, and he appeared in the mini series Wild Palms, executive produced by Oliver Stone.
