Boy critically stabbed, three arrested in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE – A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed and three adults have been arrested and face charges of attempted murder, according to South Lake Tahoe police.

The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at a Palmira Avenue home. The 14-year-old was at graduation party at the home when he was stabbed, a police officer said.

During the party, a number of uninvited guests arrived and the boy was stabbed, according to the police officer.



The boy remains in critical condition at Renown Medical Center in Reno, police said.

Arrests were made Sunday and on Friday.



Lina Soledad Caro Flores, 18, was arrested and faces charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and participating in a criminal street gang. She was arrested Sunday in South Lake Tahoe and is being held without bail.

Ivan Vasquez, 23, faces felony charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and participating in a criminal street gang. He was arrested Friday and is being held without bail at El Dorado County Jail in South Lake Tahoe.

Noe Blanco Corea, 22, was arrested Friday and faces charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and participating in a criminal street gang, according to an El Dorado County Jail deputy. He is also being held without bail.

Officers continue to investigate the crime.
