Breuch named new Tahoe land use manager

Allen Breuch has been appointed to the newly created position of Land Use Manager with Placer County’s Community Development Resource Agency.

Breuch, a supervising planner at the Tahoe City office, has been with Placer County for nine years.

In his new position, Breuch will coordinate interaction between the county’s development departments and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. He will help bring consistency to the review of specific projects and the entire development process in the Tahoe Basin.

Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA) is a relatively new county agency that coordinates all building and development activities under one department ” engineering and surveying and building and planning. The public works, environmental health and redevelopment divisions work closely with the CDRA as well.

“I am very honored and humbled to be chosen to oversee land use operations in Tahoe. This position provides a comprehensive approach that will focus on continued improvement in the Tahoe permit and application review processes, coordination among Tahoe land-use departments and divisions and most importantly enhance customer service in Tahoe,” Breuch said.
