The Town of Truckee will conduct a workshop Monday, Dec. 17, to educate the public on major changes to the town’s building code and newly adopted state codes for residential construction.

The meeting will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at town hall.

The new California Building Codes become effective Jan. 1, 2008, and include California Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Energy Codes.
