TRUCKEE, Calif. — C.A.T.T. Community Project, a nonprofit sponsored by the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe, recently broke ground for the Snow Shed at the Truckee River Railroad.

C.A.T.T. Community Project, Mt. Lincoln Construction, Caseywood, and Nate Ruppert with Ruppert Inc. have been assisting with the Snow Shed Project for the kids railroad at the Truckee River Regional Park.

On Tuesday, Sept. 22, a load of foundation materials was delivered by Caseywood, which will be used for forming and reinforcing the foundation. Northern Nevada Rebar has donated the 32 rebar cages needed for the project.

The Truckee Donner Railroad Society opened the Truckee River Railroad in partnership with the Truckee-Donner Recreation & Park District in September 2014.
