Free social media seminar next week in Tahoe City

The Tahoe City Downtown Association and the new Sierra Small Business Development Center will offer a free seminar, “Business and Social Media Planning 101: From Thrive to Survive in Tahoe” next week.

This workshop is designed to help local business owners identify key focus areas and provide you with templates for defining your business plan and basic tools to create a great social media strategy.

Led by Kristin York, innovation director of the new center, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about free follow-up business counseling that can help maximize your efforts and exposure to your targeted customer base.

The seminar takes place from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Tahoe City Public Utility District, 221 Fairway Drive, Tahoe City.
