Knowledge Bites workshop Nov. 1: Get your business online with Google

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Does your business show up on Google? At the Tuesday, Nov. 1, Knowledge Bites Workshop, attendees will learn how to improve your business listing with Google to attract customers looking for the products and services that you offer.

Local digital expert Rachel Arst McCullough of McCullough Web Services will lead this Knowledge Bites session to help your business get found on Google.

“Whether you’re getting listed for the first time, need help doing Google’s verification process, or need to correct old information on your Google listing, this is the workshop for you,” according to a news release from the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce, the event’s organizer. “Businesses with complete Google Place listings are twice as likely to be considered reputable. Make sure your business listing is complete with your hours, phone number and other info so people are able to reach you.”

Test your business today on, then learn how to be found on Google at the Nov. 1 workshop.

The Truckee Chamber is an Official City Partner with Google with the goal of helping local businesses connect to more customers by sharing free resources and hosting workshops such as this, using Google materials.

For the Nov. 1 event, registration and networking starts at 8 a.m., with the session scheduled from 8:30-10 a.m. at Truckee Tahoe Airport, 10356 Truckee Airport Road.

Reserve your spot by Oct. 28 for reduced fees. Register and learn more at Space is limited.
