KINGS BEACH, Calif. — The North Shore’s premier foodie fundraiser will take place for an 11th year this Thursday evening.

Passport to Dining will feature tastings from 35 restaurants, caterers, breweries, wineries and distilleries, as well as a raffle and silent auction chock full of valuable items.

The North Tahoe Business Association’s main fundraiser is set for 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach.

“Passport to Dining’s silent auction is recognized as one of the best in North Lake Tahoe because of the quality, quantity and variety of items that are included,” according to an NTBA news release. “Attendees are able to bid on and score terrific items including Northern California Getaway Packages and many additional valuable items and packages.”

NTBA also plans to donate a portion of event proceeds this year to Tahoe Public Art, a program dedicated to enhancing and preserving the natural beauty and history of North Lake Tahoe through visual arts that promote environmental stewardship and cultural unity.

Passport to Dining advanced tickets are available at northtahoebusiness.org for $40, or they can be purchased with cash or check at the NTBA office, North Tahoe Event Center and Tahoe City and Truckee visitor centers.

According to NTBA, last year’s event was a sell-out, so those interested should not wait to purchase tickets. Day of event tickets will also be available for $50 online, or at the door starting at 6 p.m.
