TRUCKEE, Calif. — Northstar California last week announced the appointment of Glenn Cademartori as resort marketing director.
Cademartori will oversee all aspects of marketing for Northstar, including strategic planning and resort branding, development and management of e-commerce, advertising, events marketing and strategic partnerships, and act as a key liaison between Northstar and its community stakeholders.
“Glenn is a fantastic addition to the Northstar team,” Beth Howard, vice president and general manager of Northstar, said in a statement. “Combined with his passion for skiing and the outdoors, his expertise and background for strategic planning within domestic and international markets is of great benefit for both Northstar and the Lake Tahoe region.”
Most recently, Cademartori served as regional vice president of corporate marketing for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where he oversaw strategic planning, advertising, promotions, special events, customer loyalty marketing and entertainment for six Caesars properties in the western United States, according to Northstar.
He holds an extensive background in the domestic and international gaming industry, serving past positions as senior vice president of marketing at Armstrong Partnership, a $200 million multi-national marketing agency which specializes in high-impact niche industries; as well as president and chief marketing officer of Latin American Poker Tour, Ltd., for which he launched the richest poker tour in Latin America.
Cademartori also has served as director of marketing and development for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, where he oversaw marketing for Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont, and his MBA from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.
