TAHOE, Calif. — Rubicon Pizza Company’s employees come together to choose a nonprofit to sponsor and raise donations for every year.

In 2013 they chose the North Tahoe Family Resource Center, located in Kings Beach, which gives local families and individuals access to resources and support systems that allow them to thrive and become self-sufficient.

Rubicon’s employees were able to successfully raise $5,000 for the nonprofit last year.

Rubicon presented the $5,000 check to the North Tahoe Family Resource Center on Friday, Jan. 24 and then celebrated by devouring copious amounts of pizza and pasta.
