Sierra Cosmetic Laser announces Mommy Makeover contest winner
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Sierra Cosmetic Laser and Spa recently announced Lori Malone as the winner of the Mother’s Day Mommy Makeover Contest. Malone was selected out of a pool of nominees to receive a luxurious spa day at Sierra Cosmetic Laser worth more than $500.
Dr. Haven Ritchie the owner of Sierra Cosmetic Laser asked participants to submit a letter describing why their mother deserved an exclusive spa day prize package. Many heart-felt letters were mailed in and the task of choosing just one winning mom was a tough one.
In the end, the staff of Sierra Cosmetic Laser chose Truckee resident Lori Jane Malone as the lucky mom. Her daughter Katie’s moving letter was compelling, “My mom is one of the kindest, most caring, compassionate, thoughtful people in the entire universe. She is a saint. Her strength and dedication to her children is unimaginable.”
Malone’s letter told the story of her mother’s devotion to her 29-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with a mental health condition. A full time job within itself, Malone also works full time in order to care for her family.
Malone’s selflessness and commitment to seeing her family through difficult times inspired the staff of Sierra Cosmetic Laser. They are honored to have the opportunity to pamper her with a “Mommy Makeover.” Malone will receive an organic facial, one-hour long massage, cosmetic spa treatments valued at more than $300 and Eminence Organics of Hungary products to take home.
Owner Dr. Haven Ritchie is a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine. Her interests in dermatology and cosmetic medicine led her to pursue additional training and certification in the practice of aesthetic medicine.
