Sotheby’s International Realty adds two agents for new Truckee office
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty recruited two Truckee agents in anticipation of the new Truckee office slated to open this summer.
The office will be the fifth Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty office location in the Truckee-Tahoe area, with other offices located in Squaw Valley, Incline Village, Zephyr Cove, and South Lake Tahoe.
Greg Boyle and Nathan Riedel join Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty as an agent team. Boyle has 16 years of real estate experience, preceded by a successful sales and marketing career in the greater Los Angeles area. He brings with him a strong combination of attributes including a background in business, marketing and seasoned negotiation skills.
Boyle has worked for both local real estate brokerages and major developers, including American Ski Company and Marriott International at Heavenly Village and Lahontan Realty (DMB Realty). He specializes in marketing exclusive properties throughout the greater Truckee and Tahoe region, including the communities of Lahontan and Martis Camp.
“My clients in all price categories are already benefiting from the Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty first class services and unique marketing venues. The unmatched brand quality combined with my approach to create committed and lasting relationships with my clients is the ideal combination to take my real estate career to the next level,” Boyle said.
“Greg brings such a wealth of knowledge to the table for our team. A person of his drive and skill set is the ideal agent to help us carve our niche into the Truckee market,” said Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty President Peter Strand.
A Northern California native, Nathan Riedel brings a lifetime of regional knowledge to his clients, including commercial and residential real estate. Prior to becoming a realtor, Riedel had a successful career as a contractor and the owner of Riedel Construction LLC for more than a decade. Riedel’s background in construction provides him with a specialized skill set including expert knowledge of design, value engineering, and construction estimating.
“It’s been an incredible transition from my career in general contracting to selling real estate. Things have really come full circle from building extraordinary homes to matching them with extraordinary people,” Riedel said.
“Nate has a vast understanding of homes from the foundation up and the exterior in, making him a superior consultant for any home buyer or seller,” Strand said. “We acquired some real talent during our acquisition of McCall Realty last December, and it’s really inspiring to recruit more talent as we propel toward our next ventures for 2014.”
