Paint It Forward is a new commitment for Kelly Brothers Painting, Inc. to contribute to the Tahoe-Truckee community.

The new program encourages Kelly Brothers’ employees to give back by volunteering to help nonprofits and families in need of painting services.

Our employee volunteer team tested the waters a few weeks ago and created a bright new space for the Sierra Senior Center.

Kelly Brothers was asked to be a partner along with the Construction Association of Tahoe/Truckee Community Project, CATTCP, led by John Manocchio, of Waddell & Reed.

The Feb. 27 event proved to be a fun day of giving back to our seniors and enjoying a team spirit day of working together.

April 1 will kick off the first Paint It Forward in our area. We ask our local community to submit stories of a nonprofit or people who are in need of painting but can’t afford it due to difficulties in life they may have experienced.

Nominations can be made on the Kelly Brother’s Painting website beginning on April 1. Once these stories are submitted, the Kelly Brothers team will vote on the top candidates and announce the winner at the annual Fourth of July Truckee parade.

The recipient receives up to $5,000 worth of free painting services. All the employees and even family members volunteer their time to create a fresh new look to a nonprofit or local family home.
