Ward-Young architect earns California license

Aren Saltiel, a staff member of Ward-Young Architecture and Planning, recently became licensed with the California Architects Board.

Saltiel received his license after satisfying the licensing requirements that include a combined total of eight years of post secondary education and work experience under direct supervision of a licensed architect, as well as successful completion of both the Architect Registration Examinations and the California Supplemental Examination.

Saltiel graduated in 2007 from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, and Ward-Young hired him to work at their Truckee office in fall of 2010.

According to the business, Saltiel has significantly contributed to a number of notable projects in the Truckee–North Lake Tahoe area, and is currently working on the office/warehouse project for the Truckee/Tahoe Airport District.
