CA Technologie employees volunteer on Tahoe Rim Trail
August 15, 2013
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — Employees from the San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices of CA Technologies took a road trip on Friday, Aug. 9 to Lake Tahoe for an overnight campout to help build sections of the new Tahoe Rim Trail's Rim to Reno Trail system. On Saturday, Aug. 10 employees hiked from their campsite at Mt. Rose to continue work on the trail they helped blaze during last year's CA Volunteer Campout. CA Technologies volunteers joined the Rim Trail Workday and help build the new trail that will connect the Tahoe Rim Trail to Reno.
The Tahoe Rim Trail, which attracts more than 100,000 users annually, relies heavily on community volunteers like CA Technologies who have donated more than 200,000 hours to help build the 165-mile trail system. CA Technologies has long supported organizations that benefit and improve local communities. Volunteering with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association enables CA Technologies employees to have a positive impact on the community while helping preserve the region's ecosystem.
