Staff ReportsIn the Oct. 19 Sierra Sun article on campaign contributions received by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board of Directors candidates as well as committees, the contributions received by the Community Airport Restoration Effort (CARE) were not listed. This was because as a political recipient committee CARE was terminated on Aug. 9 and not included in information obtained by the Sierra Sun from the Placer County elections office earlier this week. During its stint as a political recipient committee CARE did receive $6,475 in total contributions. Of that amount, $4,843.42 of was divided among candidates Kathleen Eagan, Paul Vatistas and Mary Hetherington.
