CATT endorses Yuba’s Logue

Sun staff report

As the political season nears, the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe Political Action Committee is endorsing Yuba County Supervisor Dan Logue as the Republican candidate for the 3rd Assembly District.

Logue is running against Sue Horne, a sitting Nevada County supervisor from Lake of the Pines.

The contractors’ group political action committee based the endorsement on Logue’s campaign theme supporting small business, according to Pat Davison, the association’s executive director.

“Dan has local government experience, but more importantly, is a problem-solver and understands the needs of small business,” said Mike Nethersole, CATTPAC chairman.

Logue and Horne are vying for Rick Keene’s seat. Keene, of Chico, is terming out.

Logue has also garnered an endorsement from former Tahoe-area state Sen. Tim Leslie while Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa announced his backing of Horne.
