Chase International’s Hernandez named South Tahoe Realtor of the Year

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Brooke Hernandez of Chase International’s Zephyr Cove office was recently honored as Realtor of the Year by the South Tahoe Association of Realtors.

The award is based on a member’s community and industry involvement.

Hernandez, a South Shore native, has more than 10 years experience in real estate and has been with Chase International for six years.

She currently serves as the president of the association, in which she has been actively involved for several years.

According to Ellen Camacho, president-elect, Hernandez was selected from more than 300 members, primarily due to her tireless efforts for the local real estate community.

Among numerous other projects, Hernandez was instrumental in the city council’s rewriting of the vacation home ordinance.

“She is extremely smart and capable,” Camacho said. “And the amount of work she takes on to help her clients and our community made Brooke the most likely and worthy candidate for this accolade.”

In addition to her work with the local real estate industry, Hernandez is consistently voted the Best of Tahoe Realtor by the Tahoe Daily Tribune, and in 2014 was ranked seventh out of 450 area agents in gross sales.

“It’s such an honor to be recognized,” Hernandez said. “I work with some amazing people and to be selected from such a phenomenal group of professionals is truly humbling.”
