Generally sunny skies with a few clouds by afternoon and a light northeasterly wind will greet us today.
Highs will climb into the upper 70s to lower 80s today with mid 80s in the valleys of Alpine County.
Under clear skies and generally light winds, lows will drop back down into the 40s with upper 30s possible in the typically cold areas like Truckee, and near 50 in the warmer areas such as the north and east shores of Lake Tahoe.
There is still no precipitation in sight.
