Coast Guard investigating after ferry hits rocks near Alcatraz
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) The Coast Guard is conducting an investigation after a ferry operated by the Red andamp; White Fleet hit some rocks near Alcatraz Island.The Coast Guard says the Royal Prince hit the rocks southwest of the island a little after 3:00 Thursday.The ferry did not take on any water and there were no injuries. No oil was spilled into the water.The Coast Guard says the entire crew was tested for alcohol, with the results being negative.
