Contractor’s group makes Assembly race endorsement

As the political season nears, the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe Political Action Committee is endorsing Yuba County Supervisor Dan Logue as the Republican candidate for the State Assembly 3rd District seat.
Logue is running against Sue Horne, a sitting Nevada County supervisor from Lake of the Pines.
CATTPAC based the endorsement on Logue’s campaign theme supporting small business, according to Pat Davison, CATT’s executive director.
“Dan has local government experience, but more importantly, is a problem solver and understands the needs of small business,” said Mike Nethersole, CATTPAC chairman. “We need more representation of small business in the state Legislature, and Dan convinced us he has what it takes to survive the challenges in Sacramento.”
Logue and Horne, two self-styled conservative Republicans, are vying for Rick Keene’s seat. Keene, of Chico, is terming out.
Logue has also garnered an endorsement from former Tahoe-area state Senator Tim Leslie while Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa announced his backing of Horne.
