Correction: Glenshire residents to see utility increase
Information in the story “Glenshire residents to see utility increase,” in the April 14 Sierra Sun was incorrect. The recent rate increase approval for Sierra Pacific will only affect the power company’s Nevada customers, not residents in Glenshire, Northstar, Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows. The rate increases for Sierra Pacific’s California customers is still under review by the California Public Utilities Commission.
The Sierra Sun regrets the error.
