Correction: Supervisors vote to keep libraries public

In the Tahoe Truckee Community announcements published Tuesday, Feb. 23, to http://www.sierrasun, the announcement about the Nevada County Board of Supervisors vote on libraries was incorrect. The announcement should have read:

“At their Board meeting today, the Nevada County Supervisors voted 5-0 to continue to manage Nevada County’s public libraries at the county level. In response to a huge outcry from county residents, the Supervisors voted to implement Option A, a management proposal put together by the Friends of the Truckee Library with the help of library and county staff, which keeps libraries under county control and maintains staff and services.”
