Craigslist ad leads to NorCal man’s arrest on drug charges

NEVADA CITY, Calif. and#8212; County narcotics officers responding to a Craigslist ad arrested a Nevada City man for allegedly trying to sell 5 pounds of marijuana.
Gary Lester Feise, 47, allegedly put an ad on the popular Internet marketplace to sell his and#8220;extra meds.and#8221; The advertisement listed different strains of medicinal marijuana, as well as dollar amounts for the product to help cover growing costs and delivery of the product.
Undercover officers answered the ad during a routine search of online advertisements, and met with Feise, who allegedly provided a sample of his marijuana and then Feise agreed to sell 5 pounds of marijuana for $8,000.
Detectives from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force and Major Crimes Unit got a search warrant and agreed to meet Feise in the parking lot at K-Mart.
His residence in the 15000 block of Highway 20 also was searched, and detectives allegedly found an indoor marijuana garden containing 19 mature marijuana plants, several marijuana clones, packaging material, scales, and approximately one pound of processed marijuana.
Feise was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and for transportation of marijuana. He was booked and released on $10,000 bail.
