Crews find only debris after crab boat disappeared
HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (AP) ” Search crews have found nothing except debris since a crab fishing boat with two men on board disappeared near Pillar Point Harbor Tuesday.
After searching for more than 20 hours, the Coast Guard suspended its search for two East Bay men who were on board the 25-foot vessel the Good Guys.
The boat was last heard from as it returned to the harbor in heavy seas after crabbing with another boat.
The two on board have been identified as 58-year-old Benjamin Hannaberg and 57-year-old James Davis, both of San Leandro.
Friends and relatives describe the two men as experienced sport fishermen.
