Authorities: Masked gunman robs another North Tahoe pharmacy
KINGS BEACH, Calif. — Authorities are asking for help in identifying a man suspected in several armed robberies of regional pharmacies, including two at North Lake Tahoe.
The most recent robbery occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, when a masked gunman entered the Rite Aid at 8245 North Lake Blvd. in Kings Beach, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was wearing a light-blue surgical mask, according to PCSO, and he demanded Norco (a painkiller containing hydrocodone) and methadone (a medication often used to reduce withdrawal symptoms in people addicted to heroin and other opiates).
After receiving the pills, he left on foot.

According to PCSO, he also is suspected in the March 24 armed robbery of the Village Pharmacy in Incline Village, and another pharmacy robbery in Reno.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
The gunman is described about 6 feet tall with dark hair.
