Incline Village crime log: Domestic battery, commercial burglary incidents investigated
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Below are select incidents from the press log for Incline Village/Crystal Bay for Dec. 8-14, as provided by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Commercial Burglary: In the 100 block of Country Club, deputies responded to a report of a commercial burglary. An online report was taken.
Suspicious Circumstances: In the 600 block of Wilson Way, deputies responded to a residence for lights going off in the house. Deputies checked the area and reset the circuit breakers.
Domestic Battery: At 6:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Oriole Way, deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. A report was filed for domestic battery.
Suspicious Circumstances: At 6:30 p.m. in the area of the 700 block of Mays, deputies responded when the reporting party stated that their dog was barking and there were footprints all around their house in the new snow. Nothing was found and a report was filed.
Harassment: In the 900 block of Northwood, deputies responded to a report of harassment via texting.
Accidents: Deputies responded to numerous traffic accidents due to winter storms. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and drive safely during snow and icy conditions.
