Incline Village crime log: Series of burglaries, larcenies reported

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Below are select incidents from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office press log for Incline Village/Crystal Bay for Aug. 18-24.

Aug. 20

At 5:23 p.m., near the 100 block of Country Club Drive, deputies responded to an online report of past-tense grand larceny. A report was taken for the alleged loss of approximately $10,000 in jewelry, according to deputies.

Aug. 21

Deputies responded to a report of grand larceny around 11:34 a.m., near the 900 block of Northwood Boulevard, when rings were reported stolen from a vacation unit.

A report of larceny was taken at 12:40 p.m. near the 800 block of O’Neil Way in Incline Village, when, according to deputies, a delivery was stolen from a front porch.

At 2 p.m., on State Route 28 near Sand Harbor, the owner of an unlocked car returned from the beach to find himself the victim of a vehicle burglary, according to deputies. Deputies report the man allegedly lost a wallet and iPod.

Aug. 24

Deputies took a report of a stolen laptop and wallet with identification taken as well. The incident allegedly occurred in the 900 block of Tahoe Blvd. on Aug. 22.

At 8:43 p.m., in the 400 block of Pahute Road in Incline Village, deputies responded to a call of past-tense residential burglary. Deputies report there is a suspect and it is being investigated.
