Incline Village crime logs: Deputies investigate tipped-over golf cart
Below are select incidents from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office press log for Incline Village/Crystal Bay for Jan. 21 through Feb. 1.
At 3:49 p.m. while responding to a fire alarm in the 900 block of Tahoe Blvd., the fire marshall and deputies located drug paraphernalia in plain view. Two were cited.
At 6:58 p.m. at Southwood/Tahoe Boulevard, a male subject was arrested for 2 warrants.
At 2:52 a.m. on Highway 28 near the state line, a case was taken for destruction of property when a golf cart was tipped over at a local business.
At 2:21 p.m., a home care nurse was arrested for fraud with elderly enhancement of an Incline resident. Subject was held on $50,000 bail.
At an unknown time on the 900 block of Tahoe Boulevard, a suspect broke the lock of a trailer and stole some of the contents.
At 1:30 a.m. on Highway 28 near the state line, deputies responded to a fight call resulting in an intoxicated male subject being arrested for Minor in Consumption.
At 12:17 p.m. on the 700 block of Tyner Way there was a single-vehicle accident; vehicle had to be towed.
At 9:11 p.m. at the state line, deputies and an NHP trooper assisted CHP and Placer in the apprehension of a suspect for attempted eluding, DUI and a probation/parole hold. CHP used legal intervention to finally stop the suspect’s car. Suspect was taken to hospital and then to jail.
At 11:46 a.m. on the 800 block of Tanager, Child Protective Services requested a welfare check of four juveniles because the power to their residence had been shut off. The mother has the children staying with friends while the issue is resolved.
At 2:48 p.m. at a business near the state line, an employee was arrested for embezzlement.
At 4:49 p.m. in the 900 block of Tahoe Boulevard, a woman was arrested for graffiti.
A radar trailer was brought to Incline Village at Fairway/Country Club. This trailer accumulates several areas of data. WCSO will access and develop action plans accordingly to address traffic concerns on Country Club Drive.
At 1:54 p.m. at Ski Way/Country Club, a man was arrested for a felony warrant following a traffic stop.
At 7:22 p.m. in the 900 block of Northwood Blvd., deputies responded to a call for a family disturbance. The female reporting person stated she was receiving text messages from a known male. She further claimed a head injury from the night before.
