Incline Village crime logs: graffiti, grand larceny, commercial burglary reports

Below are select incidents from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office press log for Incline Village/Crystal Bay for May 5-11.

May 5

At 6:53 a.m., at Mt. Rose and Fairview, a male subject was stopped for traffic violations. The subject was found to have a Warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

At 10:43 a.m., an online report of fraffiti at Incline Middle School was made.

At 11:49 a.m., at a residence on Somers Loop, a male subject was told he was trespassing on private property and asked to leave by the owner. A verbal argument ensued and deputies were requested to respond. Deputies made contact with the subject who refused to follow directions and was confrontational with deputies. The subject was arrested for Trespass and Obstructing & Resisting.

At 11:10 p.m., in the 800 block of Oriole Way, deputies responded to a call of a fight between a male and female. The female had been struck in the face multiple times resulting in swelling and bruising. The male half was arrested for Domestic Battery.

May 6

At 9:57 a.m., an online report of graffiti in a bathroom stall on IVGID property was made.

May 7

At 4:33 p.m., on SR 28 near Red Cedar, a female passenger was arrested for a Warrant following a traffic stop.

At 5:18 p.m., an online report of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle was made when the victim’s car was found to be scratched in multiple places and a taillight was broken out. Subject believes this to be retaliation in response to a prior business transaction.

May 8

At 1:44 p.m., in the 700 block of Fairview Blvd., deputies took a report of a Stolen Vehicle with possible suspect.

May 9

At 3:36 a.m., at a business in the 100 block of Country Club, a male subject was arrested for Trespass and a Warrant after fighting with security.

At 11:05 a.m., an online report of Grand Larceny/Residential Burglary was made following confusion of ownership of a short-sale property.

At 12:02 p.m., at a business in the 100 block of Country Club, Deputies took a report for past tense Commercial Burglary/Grand Larceny with a possible subject named.

May 10

At 5:26 p.m., at a business near the state line, a male subject was arrested for Violating an Extended Restraining Order.

At 9 p.m., deputies took a report of a Battery between juveniles that took place earlier in the day an Incline Beach.

May 11

At 8:34 a.m., in the 600 block of Lakeshore, deputies took an incident report of Harassment from a homeowner in response to subjects loitering around his property.
