Incline Village crime logs: Indecent exposure, grand larceny and more

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Below are select incidents from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office press log for Incline Village/Crystal Bay for Feb. 24 to March 1.

February 24

Grand Larceny: In the state line area in Crystal Bay, deputies took a report for Larceny after jewelry was left in a room.



Domestic Battery: In the 800 block of Alder, deputies responded to a report of domestic battery. An arrest was made and a report was taken.

February 26



Vehicle Burglary: In the area of Memorial Point, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle burglary and damage to a vehicle. A report was taken.

Fraud: In the 1000 Block of War Bonnet, a report was filed for attempted fraud. The reporting party stated that an unknown person was demanding money for the IRS.

February 27

DUI: In the Lakeshore area, deputies made an arrest for Driving Under the Influence following a routine traffic stop.

Disturbance: In the state line area in Crystal Bay, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance. The situation was handled without incident.

Hit and Run: In the area of Country Club, deputies responded to a report of a traffic accident with a hit and run. The adverse party was located and a citation was issued.

February 28

Fraud/Identity Theft: In the Stateline area, an online report was filed for credit card theft.

DUI: At the intersection of State Route 28/Amagosa, deputies made an arrest for Driving Under the Influence following a routine traffic stop.

February 29

Warrant: In the 500 block of Tuscarora, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance and suspicious vehicle. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested the driver for having an active warrant.

Disturbance: In the state line area in Crystal Bay, deputies responded for a report of Indecent Exposure. A report was filed and an arrest was made.

Grand Larceny: In the 300 block of Ski Way, an online report was filed for Grand Larceny of two bicycles (Trek and Specialized). The lock was cut and the bicycles stolen.

March 1

DUI: In the area of State Route 28 and Gonowabie, deputies made an arrest for Driving Under the Influence following a routine traffic stop.

Petit Larceny: In the area of Mt. Rose Hwy, an online report was filed for Petit Larceny. The victim advised the rental ski equipment was not returned.

Petit Larceny: In the area of Mt. Rose Hwy, an online report was filed for Petit Larceny. The victim advised the rental ski equipment was not returned.

Vehicle burglaries are on the rise. Officers want to remind residents to not forget to lock your cars, and to keep items out of plain view.
