North Tahoe crime logs: Woman hurls slew of knives, cuts man’s chin

TAHOE CITY, Calif. — Below is a selection of incidents from the Placer County Sheriff’s press log for Sept. 13-21.

The Sierra Sun publishes crime logs for the Tahoe portion of Placer County as they are provided by PCSO. These logs for August were emailed to the Sun on Nov. 10. People arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

September 13

9:15am, 1700 Block West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Unknown suspect stole victim’s vehicle which was locked onto a bike rack — $,5000 loss.

5pm, 100 Block River, Tahoe City: Unknown suspect stole four bottles of alcohol from a store.

6:30pm, 1700 Block Squaw Loop, Olympic Valley: Unknown suspect stole victim’s snowboard.

September 15

9am, 6700 Block West Lake Boulevard, Tahoma: Unknown suspect entered victim’s home and stole several tools sometime overnight.

September 16

3pm, 8000 Block North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect stole the motor from a dinghy beached on the shore.

7:30pm, 7600 Block North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe Vista: Unknown suspect slashed victim’s vehicle tires sometime overnight.

10pm, 3000 Block Cedarwood, Tahoe City: Female suspect arrested for throwing a “block of knives” at a male victim, who sustained a cut on his chin.

September 17

9:15am, 9800 Yacht, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole prescription medication and the vehicle owner’s manual.

5:30pm, 2500 Block West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject arrested for violating a restraining for the third time in a month and stalking another male subject.

September 18

9pm, 8600 Block Salmon, Kings Beach: Unknown suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded he give him his wallet. Suspect pushed victim to the ground and rode off on a bicycle. Suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

September 20

4am, 11400 Block Silverfir, Truckee: Male subject was arrested for public intoxication pursuant to a report of a disturbance. Suspect became agitated and was looking for his gun. Roommate locked herself into the bedroom until PCSO arrived. The gun was located and taken for safekeeping.

September 21

8:30am, 1300 Block North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Unknown suspect stole a generator and two compressors that were chain locked at a construction site.

6:45pm, 400 Block Ward, Tahoe City: Report taken for harassing texts. Suspect is annoying victim by texting her pictures of his genitals.
