North Tahoe crime logs: Woman punches sister in face, breaks car mirror

TAHOE CITY, Calif. — Below is a selection of incidents from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office press log for May 6-16.

May 6

1:30am, 3100 Block, Lake Forest, Tahoe City: Pursuant to a taxi driver reporting a female fare who was unable to verbalize her destination, the female was taken into protective custody for public intoxication. No charges will be filed.

4:45pm, 400 Block, Deer, Tahoma: Victim reported his Xbox and controllers were stolen from his residence. Two days later, the victim’s former roommate was arrested for burglary.

7:30pm 8900 Block, North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: A male subject was turned over to CHP for suspected DUI.

8:30pm, 8400 Block, North Lake Boulevard, Kings Beach: Male subject was cited and released on an out of county warrant.

May 7

7:30am, 600 Block, Old County, Tahoe City: A very intoxicated female suspect was arrested for punching her sister in the face and breaking a car mirror.

1:45pm, 1900 Block, Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley: Unknown suspect stole a victim’s iPad from a conference room.

8pm 6800 Block, West Lake Boulevard, Tahoma: Male suspect is named in four more burglaries and eventually arrested and charged.

May 8

11:30pm, 1300 Bock, North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject turned over to CHP for suspicion of DUI.

1:40pm, 1700 Block, Sequoia, Tahoe City: An unknown female suspect broke the lock to a gate when climbing over the fence to get to the beach at 6am.

May 9

11am, 2501 North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Male subject turned himself in at front counter for an outstanding warrant. Subject was cited and released.

10:30pm, 500 Block, North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Female suspect was found wandering in the roadway and subsequently arrested for public intoxication.

May 10

10:30am, 1300 Block, West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City: Three subjects were discovered be involved in 4 separate burglaries at 4 different residences.

May 12

11am, 300 Block, Silverado, Tahoe City: Victim sent $17,000 via wire to Susp for an alleged vehicle he was purchasing. Victim never received the car.

May 14

11pm, 8400 Block, Dolly Varden, Kings Beach: Pursuant to a report of a dispute, a male subject was found backing out of the driveway and under the influence of alcohol.

May 16

11:30pm, at Highway 28/Speedboat, Kings Beach: Pursuant to a traffic stop, male subject was found to have illegal assault rifles. Felony charges pending.
