SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg during an apparent drive-by shooting near Ski Run Boulevard and Highway 50 around midnight on Thursday, Oct. 15.

South Lake Tahoe Police Department is still looking for the suspected gunman, according to Lt. David Stevenson.

Officers located a suspected vehicle at TJ Maxx Center, which is located at the “Y” (at Highway 50 and Highway 89). Stevenson said the suspect fled on foot after that.

“It does not appear to be a random act,” Stevenson said.
