Truckee Police Log: Men found sleeping in bank lobby, ditch arrested

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s press log for Sept. 29 through Oct. 6, along with previously unreported incidents.

OCT. 2

A man found sleeping inside a local bank lobby along Donner Pass Road was arrested around 2 a.m. after officers discovered the man had an outstanding arrest warrant, according to police.



Police report a man identified as a suspect in a burglary investigation was found when, according to police, officers pulled over a driver fitting the description of the suspect. According to police, the man was driving with a female passenger. Both were arrested on additional drug-related charges, police report.

OCT. 3



A man found sleeping in a ditch on the side of an undisclosed road was taken into custody, when responding officers found the man to be in violation of his parole, according to police.
