Truckee Police Logs: 2 arrests in 2 days for meth possession

Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s press log for March 4-7.

The press log is published online by the TPD; in cases where no location is reported, it’s due to none being provided by the department, per the logs online.

People arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

March 4

1:20 am: A vehicle blocking snow removal was towed.

3:37 pm: After an ABC minor decoy operation targeting underage alcohol sales, an unnamed local business was cited for selling alcohol to minors.

March 5

12:35 am: A subject was placed on detox hold for public intoxication.

1:26 am, Donner Pass Road: A victim reported being threatened by a subject with a knife. Subject was found and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

11:27 am: A vehicle blocking snow removal was towed.

March 6

9:54 pm, Martis Valley Road: Subject contacted during traffic stop was found to be in possession of nearly 7 grams of meth, as well as drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and booked also on a felony warrant out of Los Angeles County.

March 7

1:29 pm, Deerfield Drive: Report of embezzlement by employee. Report taken.

8:49 pm, Donner Pass Road: A female subject was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of “a usable quantity” of suspected meth.
