Truckee police logs: Dispute between roommates leads to arrest

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s press log for Feb. 20-24.

The press log is published online by the TPD; in cases where no location is reported, it’s due to none being provided by the department, per the logs online.

People arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

February 21

5:11 pm, Saint Bernard Drive: Homeowner reporter front door was kicked in; no property was missing from the residence.

8:12 pm, Jibboom Street: A male and female were in a verbal argument. Both were found to be highly intoxicated, and they denied being in an argument. Both arrested for drunk in public.

10:17 pm: Vehicle towed for blocking snow removal.

February 23

10:34 am, Ramshorn Street: Vehicle towed for blocking snow removal.

4:23 pm, Woodbridge Court: Victim reporting theft of mail package from front go house. Report taken.

4:45 pm, Donner Pass Road: Theft of wallet from a sleeping victim reported. Report taken.

February 24

6:47 pm, Chalet Road: Officers responded to a report of criminal threats between roommates. Follow-up investigation led to the arrest of one male adult for making criminal threats.
