Truckee Police Logs: Drunk in public, domestic violence arrests and more
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s online press log for June 14-20.
At 1:42 p.m., a Brockway Road resident reported unauthorized credit charges were made to the victim’s account.
At 11 a.m., officers investigated an incident involving a student who brought an airsoft gun to a local school.
At 4:30 p.m., two American flags were found on Interstate 80.
At 12 p.m., officers investigated an incident involving a student who was alleged to have threatened another student at a local school.
At 11:21 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject assaulted a patron at a local business and causing a disturbance. The subject was escorted out by an employee and placed under citizen’s arrest on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 1:34 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject was contacted and arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and drunk in public.
At 10:41 a.m., a man was arrested after an ongoing domestic violence situation between a girlfriend and boyfriend led to a criminal threat of stalking. The 51-year-old Truckee man faces two felony charges. Case forwarded to the DA’s office for review.
At 11:30 a.m. at an undisclosed location, a generator and tools were stolen from the bed of a truck where they had been secured with a locking cable.
At 11:07 p.m. at an undisclosed location, a vehicle stop for driving erratically led to the driver being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
At 3:12 a.m. at an undisclosed location, officers responded to a report of missing juveniles. It was discovered the allegation was false, and the reporting party was intoxicated. Additionally, fresh damage was located on the person’s vehicle, indicating a possible earlier hit and run. Report taken.
At 3:42 p.m. on River Street, officers responded to a disturbance call and found an involved subject to be very intoxicated. He was arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 11:04 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers responded to two subjects who were involved in a physical altercation outside a bar. One of the subjects suffered serious injuries, resulting in emergency medical transportation. The other subject, 24-year-old Bryan Luke Sperlin, was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges.
At 12:18 a.m. at an undisclosed location, a vehicle stop resulted in the driver being arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license.
At 1:14 a.m., officers took a report from a victim whose identity was stolen and personal information used for an account in Texas.
At 5:28 p.m. on Village Way, officers responded to a report of a person violating a domestic violence restraining order. The subject was later arrested.
