Truckee Police logs: Man hits friend with bottle, arrested for assault with deadly weapon
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s online press log for July 5-11.
At 12:23 a.m. on Washoe Road, officers responded to incident in which two friends got into an argument that resulted in one subject hitting the other with a glass bottle, causing injury. Subject arrested and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
At 10:04 a.m. at an undisclosed location, someone found a bathing suit. The suit appeared to be suspicious, and it was collected and booked.
At 4:50 p.m., a civil agreement resulted in the embezzlement of a victim’s property. Case forwarded to the DA’s office for review.
At 6:39 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject was arrested on suspicion of drunk in public after police determined the subject was unable to care for his/herself.
At 8:24 p.m. on River Street, during a domestic dispute, a female suspect recklessly drove a car while her boyfriend and another person were holding onto the car from the back, causing minor injuries. The female was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence and felony assault.
At 10:13 p.m., a parent called to report his sone had violated the terms of his probation by bringing marijuana in the house.
At 2:24 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance. One of the involved parties was intoxicated in public. Upon his arrest, he physically resisted officers and was subsequently booked on suspicion of multiple charges.
At 12:55 p.m. at an undisclosed location, officers responded to a domestic disturbance and identified a male as the primary aggressor. He was arrested and booked without incident.
At 3:59 p.m. on Cold Stream Road, officers responded to a report of an extremely intoxicated man inside a business. The man was arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 1:12 a.m. at an undisclosed location, a subject was found to be extremely intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 1:40 a.m. at an undisclosed location, a traffic stop was conducted on an SUV driving in the bike lane. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
At 2:59 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a local business. The female half was arrested on suspicion of resisting officers at the scene.
At 11:40 p.m., officers arrested a subject on suspicion of DUI after officers received a call from a witness to report a suspected DUI driver. The driver was found passed out in the driver’s seat inside a running vehicle at an undisclosed intersection.
At 1:43 a.m. at an undisclosed location, a traffic stop led to arresting the driver on suspicion of DUI.
At 4:29 p.m. at an undisclosed location, a victim reported rims and tires stolen from her property, valued in the amount of $1,000. Report taken.
At 10:13 p.m. on Lausanne Way, officers responded to a domestic disturbance between wife and husband. The wife was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
