Truckee Police logs: Public urination lands suspect behind bars
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Departments press log for Aug. 18-25, along with previously unreported incidents.
A business owner near Industrial Way said he allegedly had been threatened by a so-called former client. Responding to the call, police said they found the individual who reportedly admitted to the threatening conversation with the business owner. The information was forwarded to the district attorney for further investigation.
A Highland View Drive resident called to report a missing child. The report was filed and forwarded to Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
Police responded to a 7:15 p.m. 911 call, regarding an alleged argument between a mother and her son. Upon police arrival, the son was allegedly intoxicated and arrested for public intoxication. The suspect was reported to be on probation for a prior DUI charge.
At around 11 p.m., police made contact with a suspect found urinating behind a Donner Pass Road bar. The suspect was found to be allegedly intoxicated and was arrested on charges of being drunk in public. The suspect was transported to Nevada County Sheriff’s Office and booked without incident.
Police were called to Jibboom Street around 11:18 p.m. following reports of an unknown person trespassing on private property. Police found the individual still on the grounds and in possession of an active Orange County warrant. The suspect was arrested and transported to NCSO without further incident.
A suspect was arrested around 1:32 a.m. when an off-duty police officer found the individual walking down the middle of Brockway Road, allegedly causing a traffic hazard. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
Following a 2:03 a.m. report of a woman discovered near Donner Pass Road unconscious and bleeding from the chin, police report the woman was allegedly passed out due to a high level of intoxication. After being treated for her wound at a nearby hospital, the woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
A suspect was arrested around 5:41 a.m. on charges of alleged domestic violence and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
After contacting a person reportedly walking in the middle of an intersection around 8:28 p.m., police arrested and later released the individual into custody of family members after being cited for allegedly being intoxicated.

A 29-year-old Sparks, Nevada, man remained jailed Wednesday on accusations he started two warming fires, authorities said.
