Truckee Police Logs: Several domestic violence, drunk in public arrests
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s online press log for July 26 to Aug. 1.
July 26
At 7:15 a.m. at an undisclosed location, officers took a report of a non-injury, two-vehicle collision involving a road rage incident.
At 8:03 a.m. at an undisclosed location, officers investigated a report that a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and removed property.
At 8:15 a.m. on Brockway Road, a resident called police to report finding needles and a spoon. Items were destroyed.
At 10:48 p.m. on Palisades Drive, a resident called to report a verbally aggressive female. The female was later contacted and arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs.
July 27
At 5:31 p.m. at an undisclosed location, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. The subject was found to be in possession of meth and was arrested and booked.
At 10:10 p.m. on Glen Road, officers responded to an incident of two neighbors getting into a physical altercation over a noise complaint. No prosecution desired; report taken.
July 28
At 10:47 p.m. on Martis Valley Road, officers responded to a report of domestic violence; once female adult was arrested on suspicion of assault.
At 11:11 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject was observed peeing in the street. Subject arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
July 29
At 12:02 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject seen staggering down the street was arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 1:47 a.m. on Brockway Road, officers responded to an incident of two neighbors involved in a physical altercation that left serious injury. The dominant aggressor was arrested on suspicion of assault.
At 12:35 p.m. at an undisclosed location, a 911 caller reported a reckless driver. Vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
At 4:39 p.m. on Vineland Drive, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject passed out in front of a residence. Male adult arrested on suspicion of drunk in public.
At 10:27 p.m. on Peregrine Drive, officers responded to a call of a barking dog. The reporting party attempted to contact the owner and was allegedly bit by the dog.
July 30
At 11:37 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject fled a local par after not paying a $95 tab. Subject was later contacted and cited.
July 31
At 1:02 a.m. on Cristallina Way, officers responded to a domestic violence incident resulting in arrest.
August 1
At 5:08 p.m. on River Street, a subject ordered food and alcohol without means of payment. Subject arrested.
At 11 p.m. on Saint Albans Place, officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident. The dominant aggressor was arrested on suspicion of assault.
