Truckee Police seeks feedback on state of crime via online survey

TRUCKEE, Calif. — The Truckee Police Department is seeking community feedback regarding patrols, crime trends and other pieces of information germane to the department’s operations.

An online survey is available at — in it, residents are asked a series of questions regarding what they feel the department should prioritize, and their thoughts on the current state of crime in Truckee.

“We greatly appreciate the community’s time in completing this survey as we value your input,” the department said in a statement. “We are ever mindful … that our department’s effectiveness is ultimately determined by the confidence and cooperation of the community we serve.”

The survey has eight total questions and should take just a minute or two to complete.
