Crystal Bay resident wins online Fall Photo Contest

TRUCKEE/TAHOE and#8212; After 40 entries and hundreds of votes, Crystal Bay resident Geri Yount is the winner of the Sierra Sun’s and North Lake Tahoe Bonanza’s free online Fall Photo Contest.

Entries were accepted the last three weeks of November, with voting taking place from Dec. 1-15. After all the votes were tallied, Yount’s picture of a gorgeous sunrise over Crystal Bay was the winner. She received a $100 gift card from Best Buy.

Incline Village resident Madelyn Rios’ photo of colorful leaves at Aspen Grove earned the second-most votes, and she received a $50 Best Buy gift card.

Truckee resident Jennifer Little’s vibrant photo of a waterfall on a regional hiking trail earned the third-most votes.
