Cub Scouts from Den 2 visited the Sierra Sun office Monday to learn how information is disseminated in a community. The Scouts attend first grade at Truckee and Glenshire Elementary Schools. During their tour, Community Editor Amy Edgett explained the difference between the business, editorial and production departments. The children were delighted with the morgue, the computers and the phones. To arrange a visit for your class or civic group, please call 550-2656.
